         The purpose of the R.A.U.S.I. Foundation is

1. to act as a charity to benefit the community as a whole by promoting the well being of non-government funded programs and services of the Canadian military establishment and its connections with the civilian populations through their civic and provincial officials and organizations, and

2. to encourage public awareness and support of Regular, Reserve and Cadet programs.
 

To fulfill this purpose, the RAUSI Foundation will accept any gift or gifts of monies, shares, securities and other properties either inter vivos or testamentary, whether subject to any trust or limitation, and to hold or sell and invest the same to use the income there from, as well as capital of the Foundation.

The income from donations and investments may be used for:

 - gifts of money to qualified universities, colleges, school and other recognized organizations for the advancement of education;

 - to recognized organizations formed for purposes beneficial to the community as a whole and supportive of the Canadian forces;

- to assist cadets and students enrolled in post secondary education; and to pay associated operating costs.
